Jürgen Klopp relieved – winter break is coming!

Premier League: 2019 winter break for Jürgen Klopp and Co.

Not only Jürgen Klopp is relieved, but the entire Premier League. From the season 2019/2020 on there is also a winter break in the Premier League. This is possible because the association is ready to break with a tradition. The fifth round of the FA Cup will be held without replay (previously in a draw) for the first time during the week. The 20 Premier League clubs should not pause at the same time, so that each weekend five games can take place. The long-term goal is more recovery for the pros before the European Championship 2020 (including England) – and for future World Championships. So there is more time for sunbathing for Jürgen Klopp!

The former coach of Borussia Dortmund and current head coach at Liverpool recently indulged in palm trees for a few days. After the 5-0 victory in the Champions League at FC Porto Jürgen Klopp flew with his professionals from Liverpool not back to England. Instead, they stayed for a four-day short training camp in Marbella / Spain. This “short holiday” was possible because Liverpool is no longer represented in the FA Cup. The Coach: “The decisive phase of the season is approaching us and I think we will all benefit from these days here under these excellent conditions.” That means probably a FC Liverpool in top form.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says: Arsenal London is a “bigger” club than Borussia Dortmund: After transferring of the Gabonese to the Gunners for 70 million euros, the star is “completely happy”: “I’m really happy with that because it’s a good club “, Aubameyang told” Sky Sports UK “. “It was the next step for me, it’s a great club,” explains Auba his transfer and makes it clear: “For me, Arsenal is slightly larger than Dortmund and therefore a good step for me and my career.” But he also admitted that the Gunners were the only club that had made a “real offer”. Now let’s see how long the great luck lasts. He also was happy in Dortmund for a long time …

Arsène Wenger soon history in Arsenal London? After two defeats in a row, things are not going well for Arsène Wenger. First, the Gunners lost in the FA Cup and a few days later in the Premier League against Manchester City. This gives the speculation new food and a lot of names are mentioned about a possible successor: Among others, Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann, Monaco head coach Leonardo Jardim and Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers. But there are still two Germans who are traded: the coach of the German National Team Joachim Löw and Thomas Tuchel. It seems that Arsène Wenger gets a German successor after more than 20 years at the Gunners. That would be the second German “star coach” who joins the Premier League.

Gareth Bale – Premier League Match Day 24

Gareth Bale back in Premier League?

Again there are rumors that Real Madrid Superstar Gareth Bale is thinking about returning to the Premier League. Having already named Tottenham Hotspurs, but obviously Manchester United are also interested. Gareth Bale played for Southampton and Tottenham in England’s top division from 2007 to 2013, ahead of his Spain involvement. The now 28-year-old Bale will almost certainly finish his career sometime in the Premier League, but the question is “when”.

There is only one small problem for Gareth Bale: Jose Mourinho. His former coach at Real Madrid is obviously not interested in a deal – contrary to the bosses at Manchester United. They are backing for a transfer of the Super Striker – a transfer fee of £84 million was called. What is also currently speaking against a transfer from Bale to Manchester United, top star Alexis Sanchez moved from Arsenal London to Old Trafford – in exchange with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. At least in the moment Gareth Bale must probably wait – perhaps even to a time after Jose Mourinho. It remains exciting …

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaves Borussia Dortmund – no one has any doubts about that. The new hot address is called Arsenal London, that seems to be safe. But where is the problem? For one, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are not yet agreed regarding the transfer fee and probably also the high salary demands of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. On the other hand, after the sale of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, Arsenal London is also under pressure and will probably announce a transfer in the next few days.

Another highly sought-after player has extended his contract to Manchester City: midfield star Fernandinho. He has signed a new contract dated to 2020. This was announced by the Skyblues on Friday afternoon. “This is a club with a fantastic future and I want to be there for as long as possible,” said Fernandinho, who moved to Manchester from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013. The 32-year-old belongs to the regular staff under Pep Guardiola. From 23 league matches he was 22 times in the starting lineup.

This player will definitely not move to the Premier League: Malcom Oliveira, known as Malcom, the Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Girondins Bordeaux. Arsenal is currently not ready to pay the 50 million euro transfer fee. In the summer, however, they want to continue negotiations and hopes to be able to commit the 20-year-old then. That will probably increase the chances of a certain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang …

According to our sources, the 36 year old has instructed his agent to move him to the Premier League, having not played for Real Madrid since October. The number 2 goalkeeper is not happy that he’s not been able to have a game for a good few months – and rightly so.

Arsenal London will certainly be the Premier League team to watch this January, what with Mesut Ozil and Alexs Sanchez entering into the final months of their contracts. It seems the Gunners have a battle on their hands for Thomas Lemar, as Chelsea and Liverpool booth want to seal a deal on him too. but who will he prefer to play for?

Another Arsenal player that is looking to leave the team this transfer window is Jack Wilshere – and it seems like Newcastle are set to sign the midfielder, ahead of the competition West Ham United.

Psst…

It seems Jose Mourinho is after a 16-year old from Austria, having enquired about RB Salzburg teenager Ulrick Ella. Jose made the enquiry about the talented striker  on Sunday 17th December and are hoping to add the teen to their academy.

Liverpool are tirelessly searching for a new centre-back and have enquired about Lazio’s Stefan De Vrij. But, the team are searching for more talent to help them reach the top of the table this transfer window.
